A Little More About Me
While my career has always centered around helping children communicate and thrive, some of the things that mean the most to me happen outside of my everyday work.
Family is at the center of my life. Spending time with my husband, my three grown children, step-son, daughter in law and future son in law, bring the greatest joys to my life. Our household also includes Snoopy, our sweet old dog, who has been part of the family for many years and has perfected the art of spinning circles before each treat. My playful "granddog" Poppy brings energy and love everywhere she goes!

When I’m not working, creating resources, or dreaming up my next project, I love to travel. I enjoy exploring new places, whether that means a trip to Europe with my daughter, a new Caribbean vacation with my husband, hiking in the National Parks with my son, exploring a new culture like Thailand, I simply love discovering somewhere I've never been before.

One of the most meaningful parts of my life has been my volunteer work in Ethiopia, where I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside parents, educators, and professionals supporting children with communication and developmental needs.
What began as a trip to share knowledge and resources has grown into something very close to my heart. I continue to stay connected with families and professionals there, provide trainings and resources, and learn just as much from them as I hope I’m able to give.
At the heart of all of these parts of my life - my family, my work, my travels, and my experiences in Ethiopia - is something I deeply value: connection. I believe people thrive when they feel understood, supported, and connected to those around them. That belief is a big part of why I created Autism Support Pathways and why supporting families continues to be work that means so much to me.
